Arabica Coffee Shop is a stunning new cafe that is being opened in downtown Manhattan.
With a modern yet quirky interior and their dedication to crafting the best coffee using the highest quality Arabica coffee beans, Arabica poses to take the New York coffee scene by storm. Coffee houses are not new to New York but this one promises to recreate a vintage style with a modern twist.

Coffea arabica is a species of Coffea originally indigenous to the mountains of the southwestern highlands of Ethiopia. It is also known as the “coffee shrub of Arabia”, “mountain coffee” or “arabica coffee”. Coffea arabica is believed to be the first species of coffee to be cultivated, being grown in southwest Ethiopia for well over 1,000 years. By sourcing the highest quality Arabica beans from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and then making sure the baristas are trained and filled with passion, ACS is a must-visit destination in Manhattan.
When the founders of Arabica wanted a fresh new brand identity, they came to SpellBrand.
The client wanted a vintage look and feel to the cafe logo while still being modern. This was quite a challenging task since the two worlds are not similar. However, the talented logo design team at SpellBrand came up with a bunch of vintage-inspired emblematic logo concepts.
The final design the client selected is a circular emblem with the words Coffee Shop and Premium Coffee on top and bottom with Arabica in the middle. The client wanted to make sure that we focused on a single cup of coffee in the design which can be seen on top of the shop name flanked on either side by twigs of coffee leaves. To add some detail, we added abstract puffs of smoke and 3 stars which stand for the 3 founders of the brand and the coffee shop.
We also created a stunning new website for the client which really sets this brand apart from the other coffee shops in New York.
